The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is alarmed with regard to the large quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office committed to service the area daily.
